Beyonce was sassy, sexy, glamorous and man...the woman could dance! Her vocal prowess was incredible too. Despite the time difference/ jet lag/ having done the same show and probably sang the same songs for god knows how many times, she performed like it was her last and only time. In turn, the crowd (and myself included) screamed our hearts out. We waved at her... we laughed, danced and sang like we never did before.

Backed by an all-female band and the now-famous les twins, the set was spectacular. There was never a dull moment: mini film clips of Beyonce that I believe was made especially for the Mrs. Carter World Tour, gothic ballerinas, grand piano, pyrotechnic(!) and wardrobe by Pucci, Balmain, Ralph Lauren etc.

From the moment she stepped on stage, we forgot our troubles of the day. Beyonce's infectious smile and her energy drawn everyone into the moment. I was completely absorbed in the moment, along with everyone else. My heart was almost in my mouth when the unmistakable intro to one of her biggest hits from her Destiny's Childs day came on. The crowd went berserk!! There was a lot of fist-pumping and we all sang along, not missing a word at all.

I'm a little embarrassed to say I cried a little during "1+1" and "I Will Always Love You/ Halo" mashup. Her vocal touched a place in my heart that stirred up so much of my emotions and gave me goosebumps. The show ended on a high note and a day later, I am still buzzing with excitement.

Words and pictures do not do the Mrs. Carter Show, and of course, Mrs. Carter herself, any justice. It's the type of show where you have to see it and experience it for yourself.

Like Beyonce said: 'In twenty years, y'all gonna say "I was at Beyonce's concert!"'

In order to fully appreciate the show, I tried not to spend too much time taking photos. I'm glad I did that, because now I have the show as seen through my eyes...imprinted in my brain as a beautiful memory, instead of remembering the concert through my camera's display screen.

I especially love that Beyonce broadcasted some of the charities and causes that she support, such as Chime for Change. It's not everyday a mega superstar uses her influence to raise awareness on women's issues. She definitely deserves to be crowned Queen Bey.
